what a ride,,, i first started the weight loss journey, when i was 25, i got up to 90kgs, no excuse just was eating the wrong foods, and not exercising,, that was when i joined weight watchers, and it was great, i lost 10kgs really fast, and stopped going, i kept walking, and eventually joined a gym, my first ever. loved going there,.
By the time i was 26 my weight crept up, i got up to 86 kgs, and wanted to get married,, i didnt really mind what weight i was, but i did need to fit into a dress my sister had purchased previously, so i had to fit into it to get married in it, i went to the gym everyday, twice a day, cardio, weights, and classes,. lost 4 kgs, in 4 weeks, got married,, then got pregnant.
my first weight in, with that pregnancy was 87kgs, i stopped weighing myself at 112, and i still had a way to go.
after i had my son i didnt really think about how big i was getting or the fact that i really didnt have many clothes that fitted me,, didnt bother with exercise, and drunk sugary alcohol.
It wasnt until we wanted to change our life insurance, that i had a wake up call,, i needed a medical and while the lady was here i asked if she was going to do a medical on my hubby, she said no, i wondered why she was on doing one on me,, she said its probably due to my weight, i was then at 99kgs!!!
The next week i went to see my dr and asked for reductial, and she also gave me an eating plan and an exercise plan, it was brilliant,, i couldnt stay on reductial very long, as i was suffereing from side effects, which was fine,, the short time i was on it, it had trained my brain to not need food all day, i was walking 4 kms 4-5 times a week, doing aqua jogging once a week, and body combat once a week. i managed to get down to 82 kgs, before xmas, then i fractured my ankle, then put my neck out, and by new years we had decided to try for another baby.
My first weigh in with this baby was again 87kgs. and again i gained so much weight with my pregnancy,, 27kgs, Baby is 7 weeks old, i am (or was at my last weigh in) 99kgs.
So hopefully by putting this out there, i am ready to start my next phase in my weight loss,, i am breast feeding at the moment, so its more of an exercise thing, then a food thing,,
but also going to be making healthy food choices for my snacks, by following teh eating plan my dr gave me a 18months ago.
and walk my son to daycare 3 days a week, starting off this way, and aim to get to the body combat classes,, its impossible at the moment with my baby cluster feeding at night, and hubby goes to the fire service trainings the same time as my class.
But he wont be cluster feeding forever and i aim to get fit enough to join up again,by the time he settles down.
I too will put up my measurements, as thats another indicator of my loss other then what it says on the scales.
